RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
We work with suppliers to support responsible sourcing across the wide range of goods and services needed for our operations.
Every year, we need to procure thousands of different items to run our operations, from engine parts to hand soap, crew uniforms to food and drink. Then we must get it on to our fleet of ships, which are constantly on the move.
We outline our expectations of suppliers in our Business Partners’ Code of Conduct and explain our commitment to operate in a fair, ethical and responsible way. Specific aspects of ethical business conduct and sustainability are incorporated into supplier contracts and agreements, overseen by our Supplier Compliance Programme.
In 2026 we completed the transition to sourcing cage-free eggs globally.
RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
We use supplier assessment and engagement to identify environmental, social and governance risks and support more informed purchasing decisions.
Responsible purchasing decisions are supported by supplier assessments conducted through the Ecovadis platform. These assessments help us identify ESG-related risks and inform purchasing decisions.
In 2025, we trained nearly 100 internal buyers on environmental, social and governance risks and on managing the EcoVadis assessment process.
