FMH03 - Jungke River Tubing (3 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica
Treat yourself to bags of fun on this exciting and scenic river tubing tour down the Martha Brae River, giving you plenty of time to both enjoy the ride and the spectacular landscape to either side. The river itself is said to have been named after the ancient legend of an Arawak witch called Martha Brae who is alleged to have known where gold was stashed. With the aim of seizing the hoard, the greedy Spaniards then captured the witch and forced her to show them the way. However, far from taking them to a Jamaican El Dorado, the witch led the unsuspecting Spaniards to a cave they only believed to hold their prize. On the witch’s release, she invoked a spell that changed the course of the river, causing the cavern to flood. You can make up your own mind as to what might have happened to the Spaniards. The waters of the Martha Brae are known to contain precious stones – some of which you may spot – and also represent the route that runaway slaves would take in days gone by in a quest for freedom. To round off your tour, you can pay the so-called Trading House a visit, the only store of its kind in the Caribbean, to browse through the merchandise or purchase souvenirs, pottery and photos.Please note: food can be purchased at an additional cost and storage lockers are available for rent.
FMH04 - 4X4 Off Road Safari (3.5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica
For a glimpse of the less-visited parts of Jamaica in the places that larger coaches can’t go, this safari-themed 4x4 Jeep tour takes you off the beaten track into the island’s famous hills and the so-called Cockpit Country. Fabulous views of both the mountains and the lush vegetation in the valley below await you, perfect for taking photos. A friendly and informative guide will also be on hand to tell you all about the culture, folklore, music and unique dialect – known simply as patois – of the Jamaican people during the tour. You will also have a chance to see the place where some of Jamaica's most famous athletes were born and raised as well as the area in which they trained. Your return trip to the ship will also take you past the breathtaking Martha Brae River, around which a legend revolves whose main protagonists are a witch, some very greedy Spaniards and a reputed stash of pure gold.Please note: this is not a self-drive tour; a driver/guide will be provided.
FMH06 - Montego Bay Highlights & Rose Hall Great House with Shopping (4 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica After leaving the ship and boarding the coach, a scenic drive first takes you to Rose Hall Great House, an outstanding relic of colonial times with a fascinating and detailed history rich in dark rumour and intrigue. Legend has it that the 19th-century mistress of Rose Hall, the Haitian-born white witch Annie Palmer, a practitioner of the voodoo faith, rid herself of three unfortunate husbands, all of whom died an inexplicable, sudden and violent death. Although she maintained her innocence and indeed no evidence to support the allegations was ever found, she gained a reputation for extreme cruelty and her nickname as the “White Witch of Rose Hall”. Locals claim that Annie’s restless spirit has roamed the grounds of Rose Hall ever since her untimely death during a slave uprising in 1830. Before you leave the Great House, you will also have a chance to do some souvenir shopping in the duty-free store. The tour then continues to Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville by the sea, in the heart of Montego Bay’s so-called “Hip Strip” for a cool tropical drink before you return to the port and your ship.
FMH07 - Dune Buggy Adventure (3 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica Liven up your day with a fun-filled activity that will take you to Jamaica’s rugged mountain terrain on a self-drive dune buggy that was purpose built for off-roading. The route will take you through Jamaica’s huge plantations estates, such as the 18th-century Good Hope Estate, one of the Caribbean’s most-visited plantations thanks to more than 2,000 acres of lush plants, scenic views, dramatic peaks and cool rivers. On this exhilarating journey, you will drive over the lands occupied by the early settlers and rediscover the delightful countryside. You also will get to see the estate’s historical buildings and learn about the history, culture, flora and fauna of this special place. This highly enjoyable tour is sure to leave you with sweet memories of Jamaica to take home with you.Please note: the tour is not suitable for pregnant women. Guests must be at least 6 years of age, weigh no more than 250 lbs to participate, must bring a valid driving licence to drive a dune buggy and are required to sign a waiver form.
FMH08 - Chukka ATV Safari (3 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica This enjoyable tour on a self-drive ATV – powerful machines that are easy to handle at the same time – will take you through the rugged terrain of the Good Hope Estate and give you a chance to explore Jamaica’s scenic countryside on secluded paths and trails. The estate grounds are extensive and you will encounter the ruins of old buildings, ride through orange groves and travel along the banks of the Martha Brae River, whose name goes back to the ancient legend surrounding a witch who fooled the Spaniards out of an alleged stash of gold. You can also spend some time at the Trading House, a unique souvenir shop selling artisan pottery, authentic gemstones and a range of other mementos. Your self-drive tour comes to an equally scenic close with your return journey to the ship.Please note: this tour is not suitable for pregnant women. Guests must be at least 16 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs to participate. Guests wishing to drive an ATV must present a valid driving licence.
FMH10 - Rafting on the Martha Brae (3 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica Picture yourself and a friend on an expertly piloted bamboo raft floating slowly down a winding river that flows past clusters of whispering bamboo and ferns, and you have the certain highlight of this leisurely tour. Before the rafting experience, a short drive through the town of Falmouth will first take you to see St. Peter’s Anglican Church, one of the oldest and largest in Jamaica. Then it’s on to the rural village of Martha Brae, which was founded by a plantation owner in 1762 when he sectioned off a portion of his estate. It is also home to “Miss Martha’s Herb Garden”, a fascinating presentation of medicinal herbs found in Jamaica. The rafting tour then gives you plenty of time to relax on a 3-mile journey down the river, before you reach Rafter’s Rest. Your coach will be waiting to return you to Falmouth and your ship.Please note: Each raft, a bamboo contraption without shade carries an expert raft man and two passengers. FMH11 - Ocho Rios & Dunns River Falls (5.5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica
Discover some of Jamaica’s loveliest beauty spots on this scenic sightseeing tour, which begins with a drive through the island’s verdant countryside en route to the world-famous Dunn's River Falls. Led by experienced tour guides, you can experience the thrill of climbing the waterfall and then take a break to enjoy the soothing effect of the water on your back at the aptly named 'massage parlour'. For those who would prefer to stay dry, the activities of more adventurous guests can be observed from the safety of the terrace or deck. The surrounding tropical foliage is a riot of ferns, bamboos, ginger lilies, crotons, orchids, palms and breadfruit trees. After visiting the falls, you will be treated to a delicious Jamaican buffet lunch, served in the beautiful garden setting of the Ruins Restaurant before you return to Falmouth and the ship.Please note: guests are recommended to use sunscreen and bring a towel as well as to wear swimwear and non-skid water shoes, since climbing the many steps of the falls is both strenuous and slippery. Water shoes are available for rent at the waterfall.
FMH12 - Montego Bay Highlights & shopping (4.5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica 
The coastal resort of Montego Bay makes a perfect destination for a few pleasurable hours off the ship. After boarding the coach at the pier, you will first head for “Mo Bay” along the island’s northern shoreline on a route that will take you through the lovely Rose Hall Estate and past the glitzy Ritz Carlton and other notable resort hotels. You will also have a chance to enjoy great views of the Greenwood and Rose Hall houses in the distance and get a taste of the so-called Ironshore area, which is known for the varied architecture of its residential homes. Also on the itinerary are the city’s new developments towards Bogue as well as the so-named “Hip Strip” en route to Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Sports Bar & Grill, where you can cool off with a non-alcoholic drink. The last stop on the tour before you return to Falmouth and your ship are the shops at the Rose Hall estate, where you can browse through the duty-free merchandise and perhaps purchase a memento of your time in Jamaica.
FMH13 - Chukka Canopy & Kayak Combo (5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica The vast area and virgin terrain of the Good Hope Estate make a perfect combination for this exciting activity tour, which will see you both zip-line through the rainforest canopy and kayak down the scenic Martha Brae River. After reaching the estate, you will be kitted out, briefed and then taken up into the canopy by experienced guides to zip-line through the amazing forest with the glinting waters of the Martha Brae River below – the setting of your next adventure. Once your equipment and a safety briefing have been issued by trained river guides, you will board a kayak, a watercraft that is easy to steer and manoeuvre, and then paddle down the river. FMH14 - Glass Bottom Kayaking & Dunns River Falls (5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica After boarding an air-conditioned coach at the pier, your tour begins with a scenic journey along Jamaica’s beautiful coastline, with an informative and entertaining guide on hand to point out interesting places along the way. On arrival at Dolphin Cove you will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of juice, after which a brief orientation and life-vest fitting will follow. Once you have boarded the glass-bottomed kayak, the guided tour to Dunn’s River Falls, via the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea, can begin. Fabulous photo opportunities abound on your way to the falls, so do remember to bring your (waterproof) camera. Capable guides will be waiting to take you up the falls’ natural limestone terraces that rise to a height of 600 feet. FMH17 - Chukka High Tea at Good Hope Estate (3.5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica 
Treat yourself to a rather genteel experience on this enjoyable tour, which will first see you board a coach at the pier and leave Falmouth en route to the wonderful grounds of the Good Hope Estate. Once a thriving sugar plantation, the estate and Great House date back to the mid-18th century. Many of the buildings on the grounds have now been lovingly restored to their former glory. The highlight of the tour will undoubtedly be sitting down to enjoy a traditional afternoon “high tea” – a British invention that was once reserved only for wealthy people with plenty of time. Expect to enjoy dainty sandwiches, freshly baked scones and, of course, a cup of fragrant tea. In addition to savouring high tea, you will also have time to tour the magnificent Great House itself, roam the grounds at your leisure, take a stroll along the banks of the Martha Brae River and visit the unique Trading House souvenir store to browse or purchase a keepsake of your time in Jamaica.
FMH18 - Chukka Taste of Jamaica (3.5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica Take a break from the ship, hop on a coach and first enjoy a short drive through historical Falmouth, with a tour guide on hand to provide you with information on the way. Then it’s on to the nearby Montego Bay and the magnificent Good Hope Estate, along with its impressive Great House. Originally established in the mid-1700s to serve as a sugar plantation, the estate spans a total of 2,000 acres and is home to several buildings, most of which have been lovingly restored to their former glory. Your Good Hope excursion includes a tour of the estate, a visit to some ruins of one-time buildings, a walk along the banks of the Martha Brae River and a chance to spend some time browsing in the Trading House, the most unusual souvenir store in the whole of the Caribbean. The certain highlight of your tour will be a delicious three-course lunch served in the splendid setting of the Great House itself. The tour ends with your return to Falmouth and your ship.
FMH19 - Golf at White Witch (5.5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica Jamaica is justly proud of its world-class golf courses and this tour will give you a chance to visit one of the very best. Winding its way through 5,000 acres of the Rose Hall Plantation, the 18-hole White Witch Golf Course covers a total of 600 acres amid a setting of luxuriant greenery, rolling downs and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Rose Hall Hotel, the White Witch golf course was given its name in memory of Annie Palmer, the Haitian-born 19th-century owner of the plantation who was alleged to be a voodoo witch. After your round of golf has come to an end, you will return to Falmouth and your ship.Please note: the price of the tour includes all transfers, green fees, use of a cart and golf clubs, caddie concierge fees and use of the practise facility. FMH20 - Horseback Ride & Swim (4 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica After leaving the ship and boarding an air-conditioned coach, this equestrian excursion begins with a scenic drive along the beautiful Jamaican coastline to reach the stables where you will saddle up prior to going for a ride. Experienced guides will accompany your horseback experience, providing information on the island’s rich history, culture, flora and fauna on the way. Look forward to enjoying the fresh breeze in your face and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea as you travel towards Chukka Beach for the water-based leg of the tour. After your mounts have been unsaddled by your guides, you can then ride bareback right into the Caribbean Sea – a swimming experience like no other. FMH23 - Dolphin Encounter & Dunns River Falls (5 hrs) - Falmouth, Jamaica After boarding an air-conditioned coach at the pier, this splendid combination tour begins with a scenic drive along Jamaica’s beautiful coastline en route to Dunn’s River and the famous falls, during which time a friendly tour guide will provide you with information on places of interest along the way. On reaching the falls, you can then savour the thrill of climbing up 600 feet of natural limestone terraces with the cool mountain water gushing over you. If you prefer, you can also use the comfortable seating area to simply watch the climbers from a safe distance. Next up on the itinerary is Dolphin Cove, where you will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of juice. A briefing then follows, after which you can enter the world of dolphins, undoubtedly some of nature’s most fascinating creatures. GCA08 - Kayak Snorkel & Beach (4 hrs) - Georgetown, Cayman Islands From the port of George Town, a coach will first take you up the island’s beautiful west coast to reach the kayak site at the spectacular Seven Mile Beach. Once you have been fully briefed and provided with snorkelling gear and your 2-person kayak, you can then paddle through the coastal waters en route to Governor’s Reef. After a well-earned rest on the gorgeous white-sand beach and recharging your batteries, you can gear up and head out to snorkel amidst the abundant tropical fish and other marine life. On your return to Tiki Beach – part of Seven Mile Beach – a complimentary drink will be served, with which you can spend another hour relaxing before returning to the port and your ship.Please note: the tour is not suitable for guests who cannot swim. GCA14 - Racing Catamaran & Stingray City Sandbar Cockatoo" (3.5 hrs) - Georgetown, Cayman Islands Following an enjoyable drive from the port to the Cayman Islands Yacht Club, you will then board the “Cockatoo”, a beautiful racing catamaran, for a scenic sail to the so-called Stingray City sandbar. Don’t miss this unique chance to take to the water to meet southern stingrays – friendly creatures that you can play and swim with as well feed with morsels of food. After your unforgettable experience with these adorable fellows, a leisurely cruise on the “Cockatoo” will then take you back to the Yacht Club where you will pick up your coach again and return to the ship in George Town.Please note: you are recommended to bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a sunhat and sunglasses. GCA24 - Dolphin Encounter, Stingray City, Exotic Birds & Touch 5Sea Creatures (4.5 hrs) - Georgetown, Cayman Islands Take some time off the ship and join this fascinating and highly varied tour, which begins with a short drive in an air-conditioned coach to Dolphin Cove, your first stop. A stroll through a luxuriant jungle of trees and plants then takes you to the “touch tank”, where you will be allowed to interact with and learn about a whole host of exotic sea creatures, including lobsters, starfish, sea urchins and various small fish. Next up is the natural dolphin lagoon. Once you have been briefed, you can enjoy a close encounter of the aquatic kind when you meet and greet these endearing sea creatures. Enjoy the friendship of your dolphin by petting and receiving a kiss or two. You will also be given information on typical dolphin behaviour and learn how the trainers communicate with the animals using hand signals. Your adventure then continues at the tarpon lagoon where you will have the rare opportunity to view these sizeable fish. The tour then proceeds on to Stingray City, the site of your next underwater adventure, for an unforgettable chance to interact with and feed the friendly southern stingrays that are typical of these waters. A short walk through the scenic landscape will then see you reach the “touch tank”, a great place where you will be permitted to make friends with a variety of exciting sea creatures, such as lobsters, starfish and spiny sea urchins. The highlight of your stay at Dolphin Cove is viewing a family of beautiful bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat, the Caribbean Sea. After you have been fully briefed, your dolphin swim begins when you enter deep water and are introduced to these friendly aquatic mammals. The thrill of “riding” a dolphin belly to belly is simply incomparable. Get to know the animals, enjoy a kiss or two. The tour then moves on to the tarpon lagoon, where you will have the rare opportunity to view these large fish. The final stop on your tour will be the famous sandbar called Stingray City for a chance to make personal contact with friendly southern stingrays in their natural habitat. GCA30 - Reef & Wreck Snorkel & Tiki Beach (4.5 hrs) - Georgetown, Cayman Islands Not one, but two of the Cayman Island’s most popular snorkelling sites are yours to enjoy on this gentle activity tour, whose first stop is at the wreck of the Cali. Having now lain underwater at a depth of about 15 feet for 40 years, the wreck has provided a suitable superstructure for an abundant growth of coral and its concomitant marine wildlife, including moray eels, lobsters and sea turtles. Leaving the wreck behind, you will then head for the second snorkelling site: the so-called Cheeseburger Reef, so named only because it lies right in front of a Burger King outlet! This superb snorkelling location reveals its special splendour at a depth of about 25 feet, where the coral reef system supports a huge variety of marine life. After leaving the pier, an air-conditioned coach will take you through George Town and up the western coastline, past the white powdery sands of Seven Mile Beach, the Governor’s Mansion and the quaint architecture of a historical Caymanian home before reaching Turtle Farm. GCA35 - Cayman by Land & Sea (5 hrs) - Georgetown, Cayman Islands After leaving the ship and boarding a modern coach, you can first enjoy a scenic drive along the south coast of the island, during which information will be provided on the history of the Cayman Islands and its people. The first stop will be at Pedro St. James and Pedro’s Castle, the birthplace of democracy in the Cayman Islands. A tour of the castle and grounds as well as an animated exhibition will give you a taste of the island as it was many years ago. The tour continues on to Bodden Town, the former capital of the Cayman Islands which is now popular for its colourful old cottages and traditional Caymanian homesteads. Next up are the island’s Botanical Gardens, a place brim-full of some of Grand Cayman’s most exotic plants and indigenous wildlife, such as the endangered blue iguana. Another short drive will then take you to the Grand Harbour Facility, where you will be greeted with a refreshing glass of fruit punch. The next leg will see you board modern motor cruiser for a short sail across the waters of the North Sound to reach the world-famous Stingray City Sandbar. As seen on National Geographic and the Discovery Channel, you can then enter the shallow waters and be introduced to members of the southern stingray family. By now, these lovable creatures have been given their very own names, so get set to meet “Ray Charles”, “Sugar Ray”, “Martha Ray” and a whole host of other quirky characters that will fascinate and delight in equal measure. GCA37 - Glass Bottom Boat & Island Tour (3 hrs) - Georgetown, Cayman Islands This enjoyable tour of the island and its reef-lined coastal waters begins with a 1-hour cruise to explore Cayman’s underwater wonderland. As the boat manoeuvres over the majestic reef, you can watch out for the tropical colourful fish and marine life from the comfort of the sub-sea viewing window situated 6 feet below the waterline. The jaunt then continues with a look at a haunting shipwreck that has provided the perfect superstructure for an artificial reef system that is now home to myriad species of fish. On your return cruise, you can then enjoy panoramic views of George Town on deck. After then boarding an air-conditioned coach, you will head out through the island’s capital towards Cayman’s main hotel district and the powdery sands of Seven Mile Beach, pass by the Governor’s Mansion, see the quaint architecture of a historical Caymanian home and finally arrive at Turtle Farm, your next destination. This sea turtle nursery breeds and raises both green and hawksbill turtles, many of which are released into the wild again every year. The price of the tour includes admission to the resort, a welcoming drink, use of the facilities such as changing rooms and freshwater showers as well as your very own lounge chair. While the beach is an open invitation to simply relax and watch the world go by, other activities are equally catered to. COZ12 - Clear Kayak & Beach Snorkel Combo (3.5 hrs) - Cozumel, Mexico Discover the beauty of the Caribbean from a totally new perspective while you skim over the coral reef in a clear-bottomed 2-person kayak – a completely dry, yet still wholly immersive experience – and also have a chance to go snorkelling and spend some quality time at the beach. You will set off on your kayak tour at the Uvas Beach Club and paddle through the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean, all the while being able to observe the wildlife below thanks the kayak’s transparent keel. An amazing underwater world of colourful tropical fish and fascinating coral reef formations will unfold right before your eyes. The next leg of the tour will then give you an opportunity to put on your snorkelling gear and take a closer look at the fascinating world and its many colourful inhabitants under the sea. All that activity can only mean one thing: time for a rest. Located in the heart of Cozumel’s shopping area, it is the only place in all the Caribbean where you can swim with dolphins in the safety of still ocean coves. Experience the excitement of riding on a dolphin belly in our unique “Dolphin Swim & Ride” program. Your adventure begins with a short taxi ride to Dolphinaris. Before entering the water you will enjoy a Dolphin behavioral presentation where you will be introduced to some of the extraordinary dolphins’ behavior. The first part of the program is conducted on a waist deep water submerged platform. You will then proceed into the deeper water of our natural ocean coves to swim and touch the dolphin in its own environment where then, you will come face to face with a dolphin as you grasp the dolphin’s fins and the dolphin pulls you across the surface of the water on a Belly Ride. You will also have the opportunity to get a kiss, pectoral fin shake and caress the dolphins. COZ23 - Tulum Mayan Ruins (Full day) - Cozumel, Mexico
Come experience the world famous, magnificent ruins of the walled city of Tulum…the only Mayan city built right on the crystal blue Caribbean Sea! After a short ferry ride to Playa Del Carmen, your guide will take you to an air-conditioned motor coach for a scenic and informative drive to Tulum. Once there, your guide will escort you through the ruins giving a complete narration along the way. See over 60 restored temples and some of the mysterious hieroglyphic writings still visible today. Visit the temple of the frescos famous for the detailed carved figures and original paints. And, perched on the edge of the Caribbean and rising high above all of the other ruins is “el Castillo” with its breathtaking view of the blue water below. Located in the heart of Cozumel's shopping area, it is the only place in all the Caribbean where you can interact with bottlenose dolphins for approximately 40 minutes in the safety of calm ocean coves. Your adventure begins with a short taxi ride to Dolphinaris. Before entering the ocean cove, each participant is briefed by our knowledgeable professional trainers about the dolphin's behaviour as well as the basic guidelines of the program. COZ49 - Harley Davidson Tour (3.5 hrs) - Cozumel, Mexico Take a ride around the island on a Harley Davidson. Discover places that very few know about. Head south and visit Punta Sur Ecological Reserve and the crocodile viewing area. Head to the “Wild side” of the island, stopping at our favorite beach restaurant for lunch. Continue the journey weaving our way along the coast with its spectacular views and breathtaking Cozumel beaches. Negotiating the turn at Mezcalitos we head west back to the main town of San Miguel. We’ll enter the town from the back side and maneuver our way toward the water front and the downtown plaza. Sunset Beach will be our final destination.Notes: Valid motorcycle license is required, and drivers must be at least 23 years old. Minimum age for the passenger must be 18 years old. Tour price is based on a per vehicle rate ( vehicle can accommodate up to 2 persons including driver, you can go as a single or take a companion along for free). Within 30 years, Cancun has grown from a tiny fishing village into a world famous vacation destination. Cancun, surrounded by beaches and views of the Caribbean Sea, also offers great shopping adventures. The tour begins as you disembark the ferry from Cozumel and board an air-conditioned bus in Playa del Carmen for a scenic ride to Cancun. During the ride, your english-speaking guide will provide information on this fascinating area and what you can expect to do and see. Once in Cancun, you will stop first at Mirador where you'll witness the awe-inspiring vista of Cancun's unique skyline. Next, stop and shop at Plaza la fiesta. Here you can choose to spend more than 2 hours and shop till you drop. If shopping is your thing, you'll find it available in abundance. COZ51 - Living History – Mayan Traditions and Island Tour (3 hrs) - Cozumel, Mexico Discover the history and culture of the Mayan people during a visit to a traditional Mayan Village, then see the natural beauty of Cozumel as you circle the island aboard your comfortable air-conditioned motor coach. Cozumel has long been home to the Mayan people, dating back over 1,000 years when it was an important stop in the ancient trade routes as well as the center of worship for the Goddess of Fertility, Ixchel. Descendants of these first inhabitants have populated the island since then, and many of their ancient traditions remain strong even today. During your visit to the Mayan Village you will see traditional, thatched-roof Mayan houses, medicinal gardens, cooking techniques, and ceremonies as well as learn about the myths, histories and beliefs of the Mayan World. After your tour of the village, you will travel across the island to the eastern shore for stunning views of the island’s undeveloped coastline. Travel past ancient black rock formations protruding from the sea, evidence of the island’s beginnings beneath the ocean. You’ll see beautiful white-sand beaches, tropical low-jungle vegetation and of course, the iridescent waters of the Caribbean. Finally, you will travel through the more modern hotel district as you complete your circle of the island and return to your ship’s pier.
COZ52 - Americas Cup Regatta (3 hrs) - Cozumel, Mexico Before the race you will attend a briefing, during which we will give a little history of the America's Cup and select the teams. Skipper will brief you about what you can expect and give you training in your specific crew position. After the teams have been selected, a coin is tossed to determine which boat you will be racing on. Unfortunately, we can't promise you a certain boat. Back at the compound, there is a boutique which carries replica crew t-shirts, caps, skippers polo shirts, Tilley Hats, etc, and a fantastic full color action photograph of you racing in your first America’s Cup.
Notes: Minimum age to participate is 12 years. The tour takes about 2½ to 3 hours depending on wind and sea conditions. Guests should bring soft soled shoes and light clothing. If hats are not tight fitting we suggest they are stored below deck. Sunglasses are recommended.
COZ53 - Tulum Ruins & Beach Break with lunch (Full day) - Cozumel, Mexico Don’t miss this great chance to combine a cultural visit to the ruins Tulum, a pre-Columbian walled Mayan city that perches precariously atop high cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea, with some thoroughly relaxing “me time” at a local beach club. The tour begins with a short ride by tender to Playa del Carmen, where you will then board an air-conditioned coach for the pleasant drive to Tulum through stunning landscape. Your bilingual tour guide will not only provide information about the island on your way to the walled city, but will also bring the ruins to new life with all the facts and figures of this amazing cultural heritage site as you make your way around the ruins. See over 60 restored temples, one of which is particularly famous for its frescos, original paints and detailed carved figures. The most prominent of the ruins is undoubtedly Tulum’s ancient Castillo, or fortification, which towers over all the other buildings and affords breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. Leaving Tulum behind, you will then be taken to a local beach club where you can enjoy a tasty buffet lunch and relax on the beautiful white-sand beach. A mouth-watering lunch is naturally also included on this day-long tour to ensure your every need is taken care of. After a short ferry crossing to Playa del Carmen, your bilingual guide will assist you in exploring this charming place and also hand out your own personal “survival kit” consisting of a map, a shopping guide and a shopping bag. The friendly, cosmopolitan ambience of this true beach town, its fine sand beaches and amazing azure blue sea are simply captivating. Be sure to stroll down “Fifth Avenue”, a hugely popular pedestrian zone near the sea with an array of international restaurants, trendy bars and nightclubs just as exclusive boutiques, clothing stores and jewellery shops. SMT04 - Panoramic Tour of St. Maarten and Shopping (2.5 hrs) - Philipsburg, St. Maarten The smallest island shared by two nations has some of the best vistas in all the Caribbean. Set out and discover how the French and Dutch have blended together their distinct characters in this complete orientation tour. From your bus, witness the tremendous amount of development which has made the 37-square-mile island so popular and busy. First head through the Dutch side and capital of Philipsburg, founded in 1763 by John Philips, a Scottish captain in the Dutch Navy. Then it’s the hilly drive to the other side of the island to experience the capital of French St. Martin. Originally a fishing village on a swamp for which it was named; Marigot is filled with gingerbread houses and sidewalk bistros. You’ll have time on your own to explore the many boutiques lining picturesque narrow streets. Next the tour travels past Grand Case, a seaside town known as “gourmet capital” of the Caribbean, due to the abundance of restaurants. On return to Philipsburg the bus will drop you downtown and you will be given a water taxi bracelet to return to the pier at your leisure.

Maybe spot a dolphin, flying fish or the enormous whales in season. SMT10 - Explorer Cruise & Grand Island tour (4 hrs) - Philipsburg, St. Maarten This is the only tour offering a great party cruise on the lagoon with open bar, Calypso entertainer as well as shopping time in Marigot. The tour leaves from the cruise ship pier past the Great Salt Pond on a narrated tour with the guide pointing out places of historic interest explaining some of the colourful history of the island. Join the Explorer double decked party boat which waits while you spend time browsing in Marigot, or just relax sipping an ice cold drink enjoying the views of Marina Royale. From the Marina, you cruise the Simpson Bay Lagoon passing the luxury villa’s and mega yachts which visit the many marina’s situated in the calm waters of the lagoon. With music and great drinks we cruise past Port de Plaissance to Simpson Bay Marina docking at the Explorer private dock where the coaches wait for the short return drive with views of the cruise ships and Philipsburg.
SMT12 - Panoramic Tour of St. Maarten and Beach Tour (2.5 hrs) - Philipsburg, St. Maarten During this tour, you’ll drive from today’s modern Dutch capital of Philipsburg past the Great Salt Pond, which served to make the island “worth its salt” attracting the French. On the way to the French side, you’ll pass the Border Monument. Between 1948 and 1816, this border changed 16 times. The tour continues through the island, passing through Marigot, bustling small capital of French St. Martin. Then the TRUE meaning of the term “Best Of” comes through with approximately one and half hours at one of the island’s best beaches. Your troubles will blow away like ashes in the breeze. All too soon its time for the drive back to be dropped off at the pier.Note: Bring a towel, sunscreen and sun glasses. The order of the tour may be reversed depending upon local conditions. Traffic can be heavy at times. All beaches are public so please do not leave your personal belongings unattended. There are no lifeguards, so swim at your own risk. This all-round orientation tour will let you discover how French and Dutch influences have shaped the island, which has become an extremely popular holiday destination. To begin with, you will travel through the Dutch side and the capital of Philipsburg, which was founded by John Philips, a Scottish captain in the Dutch Navy, in 1763. SMT46 - SINT MAARTEN SIGHTSEEING & BEACH (approx. 3 hours) - Philipsburg, St. Maarten Combining sightseeing and some time at the beach, this coach tour will take you from Philipsburg, the modern-day capital of the Dutch Sint Maarten, over to the French side of the island of Saint Martin. En route, you will pass the Great Salt Pond – an enclosed body of saltwater separated from the sea by a narrow stretch of land – on the banks of which Philipsburg is situated. In days gone by, the pond certainly made the island “worth its salt” and served to attract the French. On the way to the French side, you will also pass a monument that commemorates the modern border between the French and Dutch sides of the island, which was finally and lastingly established in 1816 after much strife. You will also pass through Marigot, the bustling small capital of French Saint Martin, before arriving at one of the island’s best beaches for 1.5 hours of pure relaxation time. SJU01 - San Juan panoramic tour (3 hrs) - San Juan, Puerto Rico 
Discover San Juan! Leaving the pier by air-conditioned minibus or motor coach you'll visit Old San Juan and view the massive, ancient fortresses and great stonewalls that have protected the capital city since they were built by the Spanish Conquistadors in the 16th century. A stop is made at the San Cristobal Fortress considered the largest fort ever built by the Spaniards in the New World built in 1634. A drive through the Old City lets you see all the different Spanish architecture. Enjoy a brief stop at the Capitol Building. Once the visit to the old Colonial city has ended, you'll continue the tour to what is known as New San Juan, a modern city with its high-rise condos, luxurious resort hotels and casinos. This tour is a blend of this city’s old and new interesting history. You will return to the Old City for some free time at Plaza Colón to do some shopping, take pictures or to explore the local surroundings before returning to the ship.

SJU02 - El Yunque Rain Forest tour (4.5 hrs) - San Juan, Puerto Rico Drive to the north-eastern central area of the island and visit the only tropical rainforest in the United States territory, El Yunque. On this amazing excursion you will pass through several rural communities on your way to one of Puerto Rico's finest spots of natural beauty. Notes: This is not a hiking tour; therefore it is suitable for all ages. We recommend guests to wear comfortable clothing with flat, comfortable shoes and bring their respective raincoat.
SJU05 - Eco Kayak Tour (4.5 hrs) - San Juan, Puerto Rico This tour takes you to the north-eastern part of the island where you will begin your kayak adventure at one of the rivers in Puerto Rico. At the river you will be orientated on the safety precaution needed to use the kayaks and will be given a life jacket, you will then board the kayaks and paddle through the river where the guides will explain the many species of trees, mangroves and amphibians that inhabit the river. Then continue to the mouth of the river, where you can enjoy the ocean at a beach site.
Notes: We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel and watershoes.
SJU06 - San Juan panoramic & Bacardi (4 hrs) - San Juan, Puerto Rico 
A scenic, air-conditioned drive begins your tour, first heading to the town of Cataño and the Bacardi Museum, where you can find out about both the time-honoured process of making rum and the history of the Bacardi family. Naturally, a chance to sample some of the delicious rum is included in your visit. The distillery also boasts a beautiful park and grounds for you to explore. As you leave the town towards the district known as New San Juan, you will pass through the Condado district – a modern area with high-rise condominiums, luxurious resort hotels and casinos – en route to Old San Juan to see the ancient strongholds and huge stone walls that were built by Spanish Conquistadors in the 16th century. Due to the superb views afforded of the enormous San Cristobal Fortress from Plaza Colon, a stop will be made there for you to take photos and do some shopping before returning to the ship.Please note: you are recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a sunhat and use sunscreen. The Bacardi distillery is a popular site, for this reason there may be extended waiting time to get in. Some of the stops are unguided, allowing guests to browse on their own.
SJU12 - Canopy adventure - 3.5 hrs - San Juan, Puerto Rico The lush tropical rainforest that characterises the countryside of northern Puerto Rico is not only a paradise of rich diversity and stunning tropical fauna, but also provides the setting for this amazing treetop adventure, a unique opportunity to view the world from above. With the assistance of an experienced guide, you will traverse a course consisting of 8 canopy platforms, connected by a network of pulleys and horizontal cables that are mounted between 10 and 70 feet above the tropical forest floor. A blood-pumping rappel, also known as a rope-guided vertical descent, will round off this special experience. A knowledgeable guide will remain on hand to assist you every step of the way from the moment you leave the ground until you return to the forest floor. Please note: guests must be at least 5 years of age, weigh at least 45 lbs but no more than 250 lbs and measure a maximum of 46 inches around the waist to take part in the tour. You are recommended to wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes or tennis shoes. The tour is not suitable for pregnant women or guests suffering from pre-existing heart or back problems. As there are inherent risks associated with this activity, all guests will be required to fill out and sign a waiver and/or release form to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions. Guests are required to be in good physical health and in peak condition. Safety equipment (harness, gloves and helmet) will be provided and must be worn at all times. The tour involves extended periods of physical exertion, extensive walking and climbing.
SJU15 - Horseback Riding (4.5 hrs) - San Juan, Puerto Rico Ride a gentle but spirited horse along the surrounding areas of the world famous El Yunque tropical rain forest. This northeast countryside is brimming with the flora and fauna of this lovely area. The adventure begins as you follow the experienced guides along the trails that have been carefully laid out to take you among all the nature sites including the refreshing shore of a river. Horseback riding instruction and an orientation to the rental rules are provided. Riders of all levels are welcome.
SJU16 - ATV Adventure for Two (4.5 hrs) - San Juan, Puerto Rico Encounter a unique experience within the northeast countryside of Puerto Rico. This ride takes you through the surrounding areas of our rainforest and its spectacular scenery. Upon arrival, riders will be given an introduction and safety instructions on how to ride and operate the ATV. The adventure begins as you follow the experienced guides along the trails specially designed for this activity. Enjoy different terrains that will take you along the forest. Whether you're the driver or the rider, you can be sure you will experience an exhilarating and adventurous ride!
Notes: Riders must be at least 10 years of age. Drivers must be at least 16 years of age and present a valid driver's license. Maximum combined weight is 450 lbs. Helmet use is mandatory and is provided along with goggles. Traffic can be very congested. Travel time is approximately 50 minutes each way and is unguided. You may wear a swimsuit under comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes and bring a towel. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women or guests with back/neck injuries or heart conditions. Tour price is based on a per vehicle rate ( vehicle can accommodate up to 2 persons including driver, you can go as a single or take a companion along for free). The tour should only be reserved by one person per vehicle and the rate will be charged to that person’s credit card. The tour payment cannot be divided amongst multiple participants , it can only be charged to one account. If you are taking a companion it is only necessary that you register their name with the ship’s shore excursion office upon embarkation.
SJU25 - Panoramic City Tour (Holiday Version) (2.5 hrs) - San Juan, Puerto Rico Discover why Puerto Rico is known as the Shining Star of the Caribbean as you sight the panoramic views of the Old and New San Juan City. Board your air-conditioned transportation to enjoy a guided drive tour through our old town and have the opportunity to stop and capture the images of a few of it’s many historic landmarks built by the Spaniards between 1634 and 1771.including the San Cristobal and el Morro Fortresses. Once the visit to the old Colonial city has ended, you'll continue the tour to what is known as New San Juan, our modern city, where you will get to enjoy a short stop at one of our most beautiful beaches to stroll around and add memorable images of your visit to our beautiful island.
Note: Traffic and road closure can be unpredictable, order of stops may also vary. All the places that guests will visit on this tour will be closed for the Holyday. Nonetheless, they are famous landmarks and great picture taken memorabilia. This tour is only available for the call of December 25, 2013.
