When you step off the aeroplane, our friendly, multilingual personnel will be on hand to offer help and assistance, guiding you smoothly to your transfer.In several airports dedicated MSC Cruises representatives will also be present at your departure, ensuring a trouble-free start to your journey.
If you’re travelling from Genoa Airport you can start your journey in relaxation and comfort, thanks to the exclusive MSC Lounge. Open from 09:00 to 17:00 (longer if necessary), the air-conditioned lounge is furnished with comfortable seating for 60 people and equipped with an internet access point and a small left luggage area for emergencies. Staff are always on hand to assist you and will happily provide discount vouchers for meals in the airport buffet. A dedicated telephone helpdesk is ready to take your calls and answer all your travel queries anytime from three hours before your flight. English and Italian-speaking personnel will be happy to provide any information you may require, such as how to find your way around the airport, where to find our dedicated personnel and what to do in the event of a flight delay, cancellation or other unforeseen event. The service is available to all guests who have booked a Fly & Cruise package: you’ll find the number in the booklet we send you before departure.
In the unfortunate event of a luggage handling error by the airline, we offer a luggage recovery service from on board the ship. Working in conjunction with the Lost & Found offices of each airport, we’ll retrace your luggage and have it promptly sent to the ship (at the next port of call if necessary),delivering it directly to your cabin.*
*Please note that customs regulations in some countries require the guest to be present when luggage is returned.
Following recent new aviation security measures, passengers flying into or out of the UK and/or the USA are advised to make sure that all their electronic devices carried in their personal luggage, are charged .
During the security examination, officers may also ask that owners power up some devices, including cell phones. Powerless devices will not be permitted onboard the aircraft.
